HOMER started as one agent’s refusal to give advice he could not prove. It grew into a team of CEA-licensed consultants who all work from the same in-house toolkit and the same rule: evidence first.
Before real estate, our founder Yao Ming spent years in programming and design. He shipped products, debugged systems, and learned one lesson that never left: when people argue, data decides.
Then he entered the property industry and got a shock. Six-figure and seven-figure decisions were being made on hearsay. ‘My friend said this project will TOP late.’ ‘The agent said rental demand here is strong.’ Almost nobody was checking.
So he did what engineers do. He pulled the official datasets: URA private transactions and rental contracts, HDB resale data, government land sales records. Scripts became apps. The apps became the HOMER toolkit: 16 tools across four series. And as demand grew beyond one calendar, the toolkit became a team. Every HOMER consultant is trained and certified on the full toolkit, so the standard you get does not depend on which of us picks up your case.
We are still full-service agents. We negotiate, we market, we handle paperwork, we show up at viewings. The difference is what happens before all of that: we look at the evidence together, and the strategy writes itself.
